There will be no priority given to those who have previously lived in the House.  Prior to submitting your I House application, you are required to pay your housing deposit with the Dean of Students office on the second floor of the Commons. An Individual Housing Preference form  can be obtained from the Dean of Students Office or through the Residence Life website.

Along with the Individual Housing Preference form, applicants must fill out an I-House application. This application has to be turned in at the Center for International Education by March 5 and can be downloaded here:

While it is not mandatory, we invite applicants to submit a brief (one-page) essay about themselves that describes how they wish to further international learning at W&L. A review committee of faculty and students may be involved in the selection of residents. Selection of I House residents will be made by March 15 so that those who have not gotten into the house can still participate in the regular housing lottery. Thank you.
